What's New with the Plantronics Blackwire 5200 USB Series Headsets?

The introduction of the new Blackwire 5200 series headsets gives the user more flexibility with one headset that multi-tasks.  It's very easy to use, plug and play out of the box, and offers real all-day comfort with the new padded headband on stereo models and super soft ear cushions.  Ideal for long conference calls and listening to multimedia.  The noise-canceling mic works extra well to mask nearby voices and noise.

One of the new features is the choice of a standard USB connector (also called USB-A) or the new micro USB connector called USB-C.  As we look towards the future, newer devices come with the newer micro USB-C port.

Models are available in single ear or dual ear wearing styles and all models have 3.5 mm connectivity which makes it usable with softphones (VoIP), tablets and mobile phones offering 3.5 mm ports. 

Another new feature is that all Blackwire 5200 series headsets work with both the standard UC platform and Microsoft Skype for Business which means it's no longer necessary to purchase different headsets for different platforms.  This makes it a lot easier when ordering.
